The Corner where Steampunk and Lace and Whimsy met!

Dingbat Alley owner/artist Jackie is an artist that can't seem to decide what she likes to make the best.  One day it's all about metal and tin and rock, paper and scissors.  She follows her heart and explores!  Offering her Steam-Punk Birdhouse (indoor decor) is an area of art explored with no limits attached.  There's no great plan, it just evolves!
Jackie likes to mix fabric and metal and beads, as she so pleases.
No matter if an item is large or small, the combination of materials is what she enjoys the most.  This miniature decorated bottle celebrates a combination of glass and vintage velvet leaves.  Add a little brass and the elements stand up and cheer!
On days where the world seems way too big, Jackie creates adorable miniature diorama's that always tell a charming storybook tale.  Many of the miniatures used are hand created from scratch.  Olden wood toys, vintage lace and trim, crochet handy work, paint and satin are all combined into one very special piece.
In any given day her mind is unleashed and it travels to Fairy Town and Pixie Hollow and beyond.  Jackie can make signs for your indoor or outdoor fairy garden.
But in her heart, what she loves most, is the Storybook Style that has made her the artist she is.  Jackie grew up in a wonderful place her father built in the 50's called Once Upon a Fairyland.  It was a recreation area for children complete with life size castle and 240 scenes in miniature.  Her mom was known as Mother Goose and her dad was Father Time.  Jackie creates from the imagination that has always inspired her.  Some experienced and some dreamed.
You can find Jackie's art for sale if you follow her on our Facebook Page at Dingbat Alley or in our Etsy shop at under Dingbat Alley.
