Dingbat Alley Girls

We are so excited to start a blog from our new business adventure DINGBAT ALLEY!  We thought we would start by showcasing who is who!  We are a family business that opened in Feb. of 2014 so we are only two months old.  Please meet Kara on the left and her mom Jackie!  We are the only girls so far in Dingbat Alley and we both wear crowns!  We are a mom daughter team!
Kara is quite the Dingbat.  She is full of fun!
Both Jackie and Kara love dogs and we love life, we love to smile and be happy!
We have at least 1000 mom daughter pictures to celebrate the bond between the two of us!  It seemed fitting for us to open a family business together.
Jackie loves gnomes and fairies and whimsical art due to the fact she grew up in a wonderful place her dad built called Once Upon a Fairyland.  It was a recreation area for children in the Pacific Northwest complete with castle, western town, mini golf course and the Fairyland itself illustrated the Grimm's Fairytales in Miniature.
Both Jackie and Kara have been dabbling in arts and the craft market for many years.  Kara started with watercolor and painting and Jackie always loved to draw and paint ceramics with her mom back in the late 60's.  We are colorful girls!
Kara is developing her love of art through canvas and wood.  She loves to tell a story on art with lettering, scriptures but she also loves to decoupage and create functional pieces with great purpose.  Kara is married to Dingbat Artist Shaun.
We are all a happy bunch here at Dingbat Alley.  We have just launched on Facebook and Etsy and we just did our first show in March and it brought new customers and learning lessons about being entrepreneurs in start up business.
Jackie is married to Len who is a Dingbat Artist who makes whimsical and fun lamps and furniture that is really unique.  We will be highlighting our men next and move on to our vendor introductions soon!
Thank you for coming for a visit, we hope you will follow us and watch us grow and perhaps even you would like to become one of our future vendors!  Details to follow!
